Tourist Tax: According to a Portuguese law (Decreto Lei Nº 433/82 Artigo 11º) that will begin its effect in 2019, all guests over 13 years will be charged a tourist tax of: From 1/5 to 31/10 = 2 € From 1/11 to 30/4 = 1 € Per person for each night up to 7 nights (to a maximum of 7€ or 14€). This tax must be paid cash in check-in.

By Ulrich“Great stay in a beautiful house with a spacious garden in a small village. Good location to make day trips (Sintra, Lisbon, beaches...). Communication with Rui went fluently and the owners were also friendly and helpful! Nice attentions provided at arrival (Port, vinho verde, cheese, bread) Only little details should be corrected in the description: there is no dishwasher and oven available in the kitchen. The villa is divided in 3 entities and the garden is shared. None of these caused a problem for us, but it’s better to have the right expectations!”

Perfect stay in a quiet area with super friendly and caring hosts :) We had a perfect stay at Villa Flor in Sintra. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. When we arrived we found some Portuguese goodies on the table. What I definitely recommend when you go there: Rent a car or what we did, scooters. So much fun driving them in this area. Uber also works and is quite cheap. Our highlight was our hosts, so nice and caring. We were given fresh fruits and vegetables from their own garden each day. Thank you again for everything. Obrigado!! :)
